My nose was like this even before surgery, with asymmetrical nostrils, and something that looked like scar tissue or nasal cartilage was protruding from the entrance of the nostril on the right side as seen in the photo. During the consultation, they said it would be much better than before surgery, but now it’s day 15 after full removal and my nose looks like that. I don’t know if it’s scar tissue or cartilage. As the swelling goes down, the nostrils look even more asymmetrical, and the nostril asymmetry and the scar tissue-like thing seem to be going back to how they were before surgery. I definitely asked about my nostrils on day 9 after surgery, after getting the stitches removed, but at that time they only said it was swelling and told me to wait. While waiting, I looked again today and the circled area in that photo keeps throbbing and stinging? That’s what I feel, exactly in that area. When I asked today, they mentioned a scar tissue injection? Has anyone here tried it? I keep feeling like these things are happening because the columella was positioned incorrectly Could that area be inflamed? It throbs like it’s swelling.
