It’s not that I originally had no double eyelids at all; I did have thin ones, but they gradually loosened, and my eyes started to look stuffy. At some point, I began noticing it every time I took photos, so I got the surgery on impulse lol. I live in Daejeon, and going all the way to Seoul felt like a hassle. A lot of friends around me had successful cases at the same clinic, so I went for a consultation, and they examined me really thoroughly. They didn’t try to force an excessive line and told me it would be better to go for a natural look. Well, I already trusted them because there were many good results around me, but since they were so attentive during the consultation, I felt even more confident and scheduled the surgery as quickly as possible. I had it done with the natural adhesion method, and there was some swelling in the beginning, but it wasn’t really the kind of double eyelid surgery swelling I had imagined? Maybe cosmetic surgery suits my constitution, because my recovery was faster than expected. I’m now 4 months post-op, and the line has definitely settled. My eyes look much clearer when I open them. Since the line was made to match my original line as closely as possible so it wouldn’t look obvious, friends I haven’t seen in a while don’t really notice hehe
