In my case, my under-eye fat was protruding because my eyes protrude, so it could not be covered with concealer, and the shadow made my dark circles look deeper. Because of that, I often heard people ask if I was tired, and it stood out a lot in photos too. I kept being bothered by it, so I thought I should just do it once, and I ended up doing it through a recommendation from an acquaintance. I liked that the hospital did not try to push an excessive surgery, and I also liked that they said they perform surgery only about twice a day on average. So I decided to proceed. Mine was not such a major surgery. The surgical plan was not to add or remove fat, but to evenly spread out the fat that had been clumped together. Maybe because of that, they said the surgery time would be about 30 minutes, and considering recovery time, I decided to have the surgery in the morning. After surgery, I was scared, so I lay down and iced the area until the ice pack was no longer cold. Maybe because of that, my eyes felt cold and stinging, so I did not feel any other pain. Then I came to my senses and looked in the mirror, and there was less swelling than I expected. (About the level of puffy eyes after crying a lot) Then I was discharged as if nothing had happened. The only symptom I felt immediately after surgery was that my eyes were swollen, and everything else was just my own psychological pressure. (Anxiety after surgery, avoiding people on the way home) I was able to visit the clinic about a week later. The uncomfortable things during that one-week period were that the bandage attached under my eyes got in the way when I blinked. I had more tears, so a lot of eye discharge built up. Every morning, there was the inconvenience of having to remove the eye discharge really carefully. My swelling went down a lot around day 4 or 5. After removing the bandage (I removed it before visiting the clinic), there was nothing except for a slight swelling that only I could feel. And now it has been 3 months. Honestly, even at about one month, it was so natural that you could not tell I had done it. Now I am living satisfied with it. It is really good.
