At the end of January 2026, I had rhinoplasty at a plastic surgery clinic. (For reference, the columella was built with autologous costal cartilage, and 2 mm silicone was placed in the nasal bridge.) After one month, the swelling had gone down a lot and all the bruising was gone. It definitely doesn’t look obviously surgical, but my face seems to have changed in a more three-dimensional way, like I naturally lost weight. As my low glabella and nasal bridge were raised slightly, my look became more masculine, and the nasal tip was also lowered a bit, so I overcame my short nose.
For reference, the director is very meticulous, so even though he is busy, he had me come in often to check my progress, which made me trust him. Also, as a service, they did swelling laser treatment for me every time I went in.
Every time I visited the clinic, the staff also told me the surgery turned out really well, so it made me feel even better and lifted my mood. (Although outwardly I just answered, “Thank you,” without showing it too much.)
When I asked the director about my surgical progress and things I had been curious about, he answered sincerely and thoroughly, so make sure to write down your questions well and ask him. (I asked all kinds of things, like when I could fly, when I could start getting skin procedures, and when my nasal breathing, which still wasn’t very good, would get better.)
Even now, I just find it amazing when I look in the mirror. I’m so satisfied, and I feel really good because I think I made a good choice in line with the current trend where naturalness has become the desired look.
