Nose Surgery Reviews

One-month review of my first rhinoplasty for a low, short nose

It’s been about a month since I had rhinoplasty! It was my first nose surgery with silicone + autologous costal cartilage. Originally, I had almost no nasal bridge and was stressed about my blunt nasal tip, so I started looking into rhinoplasty. I liked the aesthetic sense, so I went for a consultation, and the director explained everything thoroughly and realistically, which made me trust them, so I think that’s why I chose this place. Right after surgery, the rib cartilage harvest site felt a bit tight and hurt when I put strength into it, and my nose didn’t hurt except for feeling stuffy because of the cotton packing. Every time I went for follow-up care, the director checked my condition, and they said I had relatively little bruising and swelling and that both my nose and rib harvest site were healing well, so I felt relieved. Now that it’s been one month since surgery, I feel like my nose line is settling naturally. At first, I was worried it would be obvious because I suddenly had a nose bridge, but when friends or coworkers see me, they think something has changed but can’t tell that I had nose surgery. I think I hear things like “Did you lose weight?” or “Your makeup looks good” a lot. I’m so satisfied because they operated in a way that suits my face!
