Now that I’m 3 months post-op, it has definitely stabilized, and it feels almost as natural as my own eyes! The tightness and foreign-body sensation I felt early on have almost disappeared, and there’s no awkwardness at all when I smile! As my eyes became longer, my overall impression definitely looks less stuffy, and my eye shape looks more open. Makeup has also become much easier than before, and even drawing only a thin eyeliner makes my eyes look defined, so I’m pretty satisfied. When there was swelling in the beginning, I was a little worried, but over time it settled naturally, and now it’s fine. The things I’ve heard most from people around me are that I somehow look prettier and that it looks so natural they didn’t know I had surgery. I think the advantage is that it changes your look naturally without being obvious, so it seems good for people who want to do it without feeling too burdened.
