My nose was originally really low, so in the past I had surgery with ear cartilage + silicone, plus nostril reduction. But then I developed contracture...ㅠㅠ Other people get contracture too, but it usually doesn’t get this severe. For me, the columella and nasal tip got pulled upward, and my nose completely turned into something like a pig nose / upturned nose. After the contracture happened, every single day was honestly so hard. I cried every night, barely went outside during the day, and absolutely never went out without a mask. I even thought about whether I needed to take medication, but I pulled myself together and decided I should get revision surgery, so I went around for consultations. Some hospitals said they could operate, and some said surgery wasn’t possible. When I had consultations at the hospitals that said surgery couldn’t be done, that feeling of despair at the time is impossible to put into words... Even the hospitals that said surgery was possible didn’t feel extremely confident, so every time I went to each consultation, I got so exhausted, and I kept worrying, “What if I have to live like this forever?” I had only one real standard for choosing a hospital: I wanted to meet a director who could at least bring my columella down nicely. That was my criterion for choosing a hospital. I wasn’t even asking for that much ㅠ Then I went for a consultation at this clinic, and they explained in really great detail that using autologous costal cartilage and silicone, lowering the starting point of the nasal bridge, raising the nasal tip, and lowering the columella would probably work. They looked at my nose and confidently told me revision surgery was possible and not to worry, so I really trusted them. I booked the surgery and had it done, and they honestly did the surgery even better than I had imagined. When the splint came off and I saw my face in the mirror, I cried ㅠㅠ I hadn’t thought it would improve this much. Looking at my nose now, you would never imagine it had contracture. My nasal bridge was also a bit crooked, and that was corrected too. I really like my nose now. Thanks to it, I’ve gained a lot of confidence. When I had contracture, my mind was in hell, but now every day feels like I’ve been born again.

Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-reviewApr 30 Is rhinoplasty difficult if I want to keep my dorsal hump?
I want to correct my bulbous nose, so I went to consultations at a few places. They all said that if they put cartilage in the nasal tip and raise the tip, they would have to shave down the dorsal hump on the nasal bridge and place silicone

I’m a man, and my nose used to have a slight hump, but it wasn’t high and was small, so it didn’t have a masculine feel, and it didn’t really look handsome either. This time, I had surgery with Director Kim Ji-hoon at Ppeulli Plastic Surger
