I’m one month post-op, and I’ll spill everything. Scabs keep forming inside my nose, which is annoying. They told me to rinse with saline, but at first I didn’t know how to do it, so I looked it up on YouTube. The incision scar is still visible too, but they said it’s still too early for laser treatment, so I got scar medication. Because of the asymmetry, I’m also continuing to wear a retainer at home.
Honestly, I’m a bit confused about the shape of my nose. When I take photos at home, it still looks a little crooked, but the photos they took at the clinic make it look like the correction went well. They showed me the photos right after taking them, so I don’t think anything was weird, but I wonder if it’s just a difference in angle. I’m just going to trust what the director said and wait a bit longer. Since my face is asymmetrical, I didn’t expect perfect symmetry from the beginning.
It’s true that my nasal obstruction is gone. I feel it every morning, and I’m satisfied just with the fact that the problem that used to repeat every winter has disappeared.
