Nose Surgery Reviews

2-week review after autologous costal cartilage surgery for a short nose

For a long time, whenever I took photos, my upturned nose was the only thing I noticed, and it was a complex of mine. I visited lots of clinics, and then on YouTube I found a nose line that looked natural while still having a defined, high nose bridge, and I found out it was from a plastic surgery clinic. Director Kim Hyun-joo recommended short nose correction and bulbous nose correction, and said we should not raise the glabella area. And most importantly, I really did not want alar base reduction, but at other clinics they said I had to get alar base reduction to have a pretty nose. (Since all four places said that) I ended up thinking that was true and even put down a deposit, but at this clinic they did not recommend alar base reduction, and I liked it so much that I changed clinics right away. For the nasal tip, I used autologous costal cartilage, and the bridge was raised with silicone~ After nose surgery, it was honestly so hard. Because I couldn't breathe through my nose, it was really painful, my throat stung, and because my nose was swollen, my nose kept running. And since I couldn't wash properly either, I felt so drained... As soon as the splint came off, it felt so refreshing, and even though I still couldn't breathe through my nose, it felt so good haha For now, from the side it looks really pretty. From the front, maybe because it is still swollen, I am still not sure yet.
