Functional nose surgery, autologous costal cartilage revision revision revision

Today is day 36 since my third surgery, and last week, exactly one month after surgery, I visited the clinic. The doctor said the skin-grafted area had a lot of protruding tissue, so I needed to press that area down by using an expander (retainer) for 3 months and then come back, and then just passed me on to the treatment room~ In the treatment room, the nurse tried about two retainers that fit my nostrils, then gave me two size 3s and one size 2, saying that if the two size 3s felt tight, I should wear them alternately on both sides.. She said to insert it with the middle connecting part facing outward (so it would be easier to hold that part and remove it), and I wore it the way they put it in at the clinic. On the way home, one side kept falling out, so when I got home I switched to the larger one and put it in, but it was so tight that it was uncomfortable. Still, I had no other choice, so I diligently wore it for 8 hours a day for 5 days. I felt I couldn’t keep going like this because it was too uncomfortable, so I contacted the clinic and asked them to send me just one smaller size (I live outside the Seoul area), but they said they don’t ship by parcel. Just in case, I searched online and found that they were sold online too, and the method the clinic told me was completely wrong.. Retainers also had separate left and right sides, and the direction was supposed to be with the flat part facing inward. No wonder, after taking out the retainer, my nostril shape had become some weird shape, not even a square. Damn I called the clinic and told them.. and they said the right/left direction doesn’t matter.. (Then why did they bother separating left and right?) Since I have to wear it for 3 months, I ended up having to go back to the clinic again, but I’m the one who needs them, so... Before surgery, I had the upper hand. After surgery, the clinic has the upper hand
