If one-sided nasal congestion is due to a deviated septum: removal vs revision surgery

Should I say my nasal septum is deviated? Inside my right nostril, there’s something kind of round? protruding. From the outside, the silicone deviation isn’t extremely obvious, but doctors can tell right away when they look. They said it’s deviated and that the nostril is lifted. For now, the right nostril side is gradually getting blocked, and it’s hard to breathe on that side. It also feels like this is getting worse over time. I lived for 10 years without really paying attention to it, but I found out while going around looking into nose surgery recently. I was going to have it removed, but now I’m not confident I can go through with complete removal.. My original nose was such a bulbous nose that I’m getting scared. What I want is just to lower the nasal tip height from here, so I’m wondering if removing it is the right choice.. At the removal clinic, they said removing it might improve the nasal congestion, or it might not. If I choose revision surgery instead of removal, would the nasal congestion need to be treated as functional rhinoplasty..? The shape is a problem, and the function is a problem too. Honestly, the best case would be not removing it, doing revision surgery to only lower the nasal tip height, and improving the nasal congestion/function, but I have a feeling that won’t be easy.. Or should I reluctantly give up on the appearance and do complete removal? If I do complete removal, will the one-sided nasal congestion improve? For now, the ENT said it seems like it may have become deviated because it was being pressed by the silicone (this is also just a guess), and said, “Wouldn’t there be a high possibility that the nasal congestion improves if you remove it?” but they said they don’t know for sure.. Even the doctor.. If I do complete removal, will the nasal congestion improve?
