Nose Surgery Reviews

Revision rhinoplasty for an upturned nose after more than 10 years.....

Reason for surgery = The surgery I had over 10 years ago made my nasal tip feel upturned, and I also wanted to fix my bulbous nose while I was at it. Since my nose looked lifted, I thought contracture had happened to me too, but it wasn’t that;;; Whenever I went for consultations, I was told it wasn’t an easy nose because the side-profile nasal bridge structure was well developed. I chose the place where I had surgery this time because they said my previous surgery had been simple so my skin would stretch well, and that they had a nose-shape guarantee system. Plan = This time I had osteotomy, and the plan was to lower the short, upturned nose. Compared with my chin and lips, my nasal tip wasn’t particularly low, so we decided to raise it only slightly. I think I heard it would be about 2.5 mm? The shape has really been defined, but since autologous costal cartilage was used, the columella area does feel a bit firm. But I think that’s better than it drooping, so I’m okay with it. Compared with the beginning, it has loosened slightly. Cost = Once osteotomy was included, the price jumped a lot, which feels so unfair.... I’ll keep going for follow-ups and make sure I get my money’s worth... I’m not sure if this is how I’m supposed to write a review. It seems like people write freely, though.. If anything doesn’t fit, let me know!
