Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

6-Month Review of Two Facial Contouring Procedures: Cheekbones and Square Jaw

Before surgery, my cheekbones protruded quite a lot and my jaw was angular, so overall I had a rather strong, masculine impression. I wanted a softer image, so after thinking about it for a long time, I eventually had square jaw and chin surgery at the clinic last August. Looking back now, I’m so satisfied that I even think I should have done it sooner. Haha People around me don’t notice at all that I had surgery unless I tell them first, and most say it looks like I lost a lot of weight or that I’ve gotten prettier. I’m currently 6 months post-op, and the swelling has gone down a lot, so people seem to be naturally accepting the changes compared to before.  For about a week right after surgery, there was quite a bit of swelling, so I wore a mask when going around. After that, I had some bruising, but it wasn’t severe, so there wasn’t much discomfort with daily life or going out. I had a slightly uncomfortable feeling on the left side, but I kept doing chewing exercises, and I think that helped me recover quickly. However, I do still occasionally have a tingling sensation.  The reason I chose the hospital was that it wasn’t a place that does all kinds of surgeries, but a hospital centered on facial contouring surgery. More than anything, there were many reviews saying communication with the director was good. When I actually had the consultation, everyone from the reception staff to Director Oh Jung-seok was kind, and they carefully checked my progress in person, so I felt I could trust them.  I was especially impressed by the director’s treatment philosophy of prioritizing safety and results rather than excessively pursuing only aesthetic aspects. Now I’m very satisfied with the results, to the point that I can barely remember my old face. 👍🏻
