My face shape is not really a complex of mine, but I wanted to become even a little prettier, so I went in for a consultation because I was thinking about making my chin tip a little more contoured and shortening it a bit.
I asked because I was worried that if the chin tip were reduced, it might cause my lower lip to curl inward, and I was told that it could happen somewhat. I thought that was very honest.
When I asked, "If I do this, will I look prettier?" they said, "Well, we’d have to try it to know the result." That also felt very honest.
There are many doctors who just say it will definitely be pretty, do the surgery, and then take the money, but after consulting around a lot, I want to give this director some points for character and honesty. It was not one of those "you will definitely be prettier" situations.
If someone truly has a complex about it, I think they would be satisfied after surgery, and from what I saw, the skill seems decent too, so I do think this might be one of the doctors you can trust and leave it to.
But I really, really hope people go to many consultations and decide carefully.
