Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

I tried revision rhinoplasty again with a Shasha-style nose. (Review of cartilage-particle rhinoplasty)

Hi. I’m leaving a review to share information about my revision rhinoplasty at a clinic. I had my first nose surgery 5 years ago, and back then I looked into clinics in such an innocent, naive way. Maybe because I searched simply with the thought that I wanted surgery without an open approach, my nose ended up very far from the shape I had wanted. My nasal tip was blunt and my nostril wings were wide, so my nose had a subtly old-fashioned look. There are trends in plastic surgery, and there are nose designs that suit each person’s face, but while I was already unhappy with my nose shape, over time, when viewed from the front, my nose started to look crooked, so revision surgery became unavoidable. On top of that, something round seemed to show through at the nasal tip.. At that time, work was so busy, and as my appearance-related anxiety got bad enough that my self-esteem kept dropping, I went through a really hard time emotionally.. I ended up looking into revision surgery very desperately. For consultations, I looked into all kinds of clinics, regardless of whether they advertised a lot or not, and then I learned about cartilage-particle surgery, so I went for an in-person consultation at that clinic, thinking that with this, even as revision surgery, a closed approach might be possible. Before that, I had visited 6 places, but there wasn’t really anywhere I liked, and there were many places I went to because they were famous, but I felt communication with the director wasn’t good. Overall, they felt okay, but to have revision surgery based only on that felt too much like a gamble, so I had a reality check. At that time, I was so stressed about revision surgery that my immunity got worse and I even got dyshidrotic eczema on my hand. Still, I thought doing in-person consultations was the only answer for revision surgery, so I think I really worked hard and went around a lot. When I went to that clinic, I had a consultation with the director, and as I listened to his explanation and looked through the virtual simulation, what I had initially thought was simply that I wanted to change only the step-off and the crooked part, but gradually I started thinking that the short nose also needed to be corrected for the overall nose proportions to improve. But at first, the director did say that an open approach would be best for revision surgery on a short nose.. This clinic had many closed-approach reviews, and the director explained the closed approach + cartilage particles very professionally, but seeing that he also explained the open method made me think it probably wasn’t a completely unreasonable point, so I did think about it. But after surgery I had to return to work almost immediately, and I was doing it without my family knowing, so I felt recovery absolutely had to be fast, so I told him I wanted a closed approachㅠ I asked him to do it as much as possible with a closed approach, and the director took that into consideration and reviewed the virtual simulation again (I think we looked at just this more than 5 times). He said he would use donated costal cartilage for the columellar support, and cartilage particles for the connection between the nasal dorsum and bridge. After my revision rhinoplasty, doing lighter makeup actually looks prettier, and I definitely have fewer times when I feel anxious or preoccupied because of my appearance. With plastic surgery, your own satisfaction is important, but honestly, you also care about how people around you evaluate it. When I had my first surgery, I never once heard that my nose was pretty.. Now I often hear that it was really good that I did it, and that my current nose suits me much better. It’s only been one month now, so more swelling will still go down, and I do worry that the nasal tip might show through again, but still, right now I like the shape of my nose, and since the short nose has been corrected overall, my nose line looks much prettier. I really regret the past, when I didn’t look into things properly ㅜㅜ but it’s basically like I fixed it again with my own effort, so I just hope it stays like this. Every time I look in the mirror, I’m feeling so grateful to the director.. I just want it to keep going like this.
