After giving birth to two children, seeing myself standing in front of the mirror made me feel so shabby and lacking in confidence, so I finally went ahead with the breast surgery I had been worrying over for a long time!! First of all, since I had to take care of my two children right after surgery, I looked for a surgical method that would let me return to daily life and childcare right away, and that’s how I found a method called Preservé!
It was expensive, but same-day discharge, no blood drain, sedation anesthesia, a 20-minute surgery, and being able to return to daily life right away were all very attractive points for me as someone raising children!!
Also, since I came from another region, I didn’t have time to go around to multiple places for consultations, so I had a consultation at just one place and decided.
Reasons I chose this hospital
1. Officially certified Preservé hospital 2. Chief director is a board-certified surgeon 3. An anesthesiologist is on-site 4. Breast screening center on-site 5. Lifetime AS
On the day of surgery, I also had a Mammotome procedure done, so after sedation anesthesia, they removed a cyst in my left breast with Mammotome and inserted Motiva 320cc on both sides!!
On the day of surgery, I was surprised because it really did not hurt at a~~~~~ll! I had heard that Preservé does not have much pain, but it didn’t hurt at all to the point where I wondered, did I really have breast surgery? lol
This photo is from day 3 after surgery.
At the hospital, they attached a pain-control injection, and two days later they let me remove it myself at home! Maybe because of that, even after coming home, it didn’t hurt at all.
However, when lying down and getting up, maybe because it strained my chest muscles, there was a little stiff pain, but that much has to be expected^^
After removing the pain-control injection, I did have a tingling sensation, but it was tolerable, and I even went to my in-laws with the bandage on and spent the Lunar New Year holiday there! lol
The day I removed the bandage one week later.
Seeing my breasts for the first time really felt like I had been born again lol
Since I came from another region, the care room gave me two weeks’ worth of care program sessions, and thanks to that, I decided to receive the remaining care program at my appointment one month later!!
At home, I started wearing the compression bra, and it is really comfortable!! The material stretches well, so even if it feels tightly compressed, before I know it, it has stretched to fit my body shape!!
This compression bra was made in-house by the hospital director, so I trusted it even more! lol
Since it supports and compresses the whole breast from underneath, at home I don’t use pads and just wear a T-shirt comfortably like going braless, and when going out I attach the pads~
I don’t think I’ll throw away this doctor bra and will probably keep using it later too. That’s how comfortable it is lol
It has only been 3 weeks so far, but since the upper fullness is not severe, I am personally satisfied^^
I’ll keep posting photos from time to time and share progress reviews
