Today marks one week after my complete removal, so I had the splint removed, but it looks more like a saddle nose than I expected, so I’m flustered, and it’s much lower than my original nose.. I had mentally prepared myself, but actually seeing it in person just makes me sigh According to the director, there is still swelling, so they can’t tell yet, and said to check the progress after a month. But can swelling make it look like a saddle nose? My nostrils are already lifted, so you can see everything haha I didn’t have a hump removed, and I had surgery with no implant using autologous costal cartilage, but had everything removed after 2 weeks because of inflammation. They said they only removed a little bit of the septum because of rhinitis(?) How did everyone get through this mental spiral? When should I start taking medication for contracture prevention?
