CT fee is 30,000 won, paid by bank transfer after going there. They said the director had a surgery scheduled, so my consultation was moved 4 hours earlier than the original time. And then they said there was some CT error, so I had to take it twice... lol The consultation was also delayed by almost an hour... That said, the consultation quality didn’t drop, though, yeah.
Pre-consultation with the consultant. Here, the consultant also looks at the CT for you...? The consultant went through the recommended surgeries, told me what she had done on her own face too, and so on. Rather than bright and friendly, she had a calm vibe. Double eyelid surgery is done under sedation or local anesthesia. She immediately recommended natural adhesion because my eyes would really take well to it, and said an epicanthoplasty would be good too. But since my eye-opening strength is a bit lacking, she suggested adding non-incisional ptosis correction? Then we moved on to the facial contouring consultation, and I wondered if she was the same person because as soon as facial contouring came up, she suddenly turned into a sensitive professor type... whoa. She especially mentioned cortical osteotomy a lot. “Do you know the difference between cortical osteotomy and cortical bone shaving? Patients who come to our clinic study all of that before coming.” As she said that, it felt a bit like she was testing me...? It seems she has that much pride in her surgical method. The consultation room desk was packed with before-and-after surgery booklets, so... lol She personally flipped through them and showed me photos, and I think it took much longer than the double eyelid consultation.
Oh, and then suddenly she said my retruded chin was really severe... She said this is a case where a retruded chin and a protruding jaw are combined, so unusually it doesn’t look that severe and the jawline is still defined. I was like, huh..? Then couldn’t I just not do it...? But for now I indirectly said, “Doing it all the way to the chin tip would be too much of a cost burden,” and she smiled and said, “I just do the chin tip together too, all for the same price lol.” She also mentioned the asymmetry before I brought it up, and she brought up my 2 remaining wisdom teeth first too, reassuring me that they would be no problem at all.
For the price adjustment with the consultant, even with the review discount and whatever else, she took a firm stance that it would not go below that price. And hospitalization fees are additional: 150,000 won per day on weekdays, 200,000 won per day on weekends. I was satisfied with the consultation quality.
