As I’m getting close to 60, the first thing that started to show my age was my eyes. As my forehead drooped, I felt like my eyelids were being pressed down, and sometimes when I looked in the mirror in the morning, my eyes looked half-closed. At first, I just brushed it off, thinking it was because I was getting older, but in photos my eyes looked even more heavy and stuffy, so it kept bothering me. I had a forehead lift, lower blepharoplasty, and sub-brow lift, and before, I had to deliberately open my eyes wide for them to look clear, but now even when I open them naturally, my eyes look much more refreshed. My impression didn’t change drastically; I just look less tired than before, which I actually like. To be honest, I think I was unnecessarily scared and worried about it for too long.
