I succeeded with semi-out non-incisional buried double eyelid surgery (2 weeks post-op)

Hello, I’m someone who had never even had a single stitch anywhere before, but ended up making double eyelid surgery my first surgery. And it was 5 days before the semester started haha I had always been told that my eyes were big for monolids, and since everyone told me not to do it, I just thought, “I guess so,” and let it pass. But in photos, my eyes always looked blank and like they weren’t fully open, and I looked wronged and timid.. Since my eyelids are thin, I would only get wrinkle-like lines, and it stressed me out in many ways. So I decided to get double eyelid surgery, and I studied my eyes and the surgery for a long time while looking through all kinds of YouTube videos and cosmetic surgery community apps. People say double eyelid surgery isn’t even really surgery, but the eyes affect a person’s impression the most, so I felt it would be terrifying if it went wrong. It’s not like I hated my original eyes that much either.. I made a list of clinics and started going around for consultations. The list had 7 places, but in the end I only went to 3. The first clinic I visited was famous, but there were too many people and it strongly felt like a factory-style clinic. The consultant was kind, but there was a bit of pressure to book on the same day, and as soon as the director saw me, he spoke informally and acted like he had to leave quickly, so I couldn’t properly ask the questions I wanted. I was recommended ptosis correction + non-incisional in-out, and the cost was mid-range. The second clinic I visited was famous for canthoplasty. Maybe because of that, they recommended ptosis correction + non-incisional in-out + upper canthoplasty. The cost was incredibly expensive. The consultant was extremely kind, but the director was slightly displeased? He had this attitude like, “Why are you asking something obvious?” The last clinic I went to was the one I chose. The consultant was so kind, and most of all, I really liked the director! I was debating because I thought both in-out and semi-out would suit me well, but this was the only place that said semi-out was possible too. He marked the line for me and tried several different lines while asking very detailed and kind questions about what shape I liked, whether I wanted a puppy-like or cat-like impression, and what kind of eyes I wanted. When I showed him photos, he seemed very confident and said it was the easiest line to do well on my eyes. Most importantly, the line he marked was the one I liked the most, by far. After that, while talking with the consultant again about the surgery date, I said I wanted to do it after the semester ended in late June. She said my eyes would recover quickly, so even doing it that very day wouldn’t be too much. I said today probably wouldn’t work.. and that I’d go home and think about it a bit more. On the way home, I thought about all kinds of reviews and situations, wondered whether I could handle it, and had every possible thought. Then I decided that since I was going to do it anyway, I should just get it done quickly and decisively, so I scheduled the surgery for two days later. The result was a huge success!!! I love it so much, and I didn’t know having double eyelids could be this convenient.. When I had monolids, there were a lot of limits when doing makeup, but now even when I do my makeup roughly, it looks so pretty. I just want to look in the mirror every day and give myself kisses. I’m also bowing endlessly in gratitude to the director. Since I had the surgery on the 4th day of my period, I bruised quite badly. The right side was okay, but the left side was serious, so wearing an eye patch, covering it with a hat, and going to school was really hard for about a week haha But other people will probably rest at home for at least a month, so I think the bruising and swelling will all go down during that time, so you don’t need to worry. + For aftercare, I used the ointment and took the medicine properly, did cold compresses frequently until day 3, and warm compresses frequently from day 4. Don’t think lightly of it just because it’s double eyelid surgery. Study it in a lot of detail! I recommend knowing exactly what you want before going to consultations. I studied so much that I almost became an expert haha I hope everyone succeeds!
