5 months after incisional ptosis correction double-eyelid revision surgery, they finally feel like my own eyes

It has already been 5 months since I had double-eyelid revision surgery with incisional ptosis correction. What I definitely feel as time passes is that my eyes now look really natural, as if they were always mine. In the beginning, I could visibly see the swelling going down, but now it feels like the overall line has completely settled. Even when I smile or open my eyes wide, they move smoothly without any awkwardness, to the point that I can barely remember what I looked like before the revision surgery haha For this double-eyelid revision surgery, I had incisional ptosis correction, and also had the epicanthoplasty and lower lateral canthoplasty corrected together. Once the strength for opening my eyes became clearer, my overall impression looked much more defined and refreshed. It was not just that the line changed; my eye shape itself feels more refined. By the 5-month mark, there is no pulling or stiffness at all, and the incisional scar is barely noticeable, so even up close, it does not strongly look like I had surgery. Applying makeup has definitely become easier too. Before, I used eyeliner to make my eyes look more defined, but now, after the double-eyelid revision surgery, the line itself is clear, so my eyes look defined even with light makeup. If I draw it too heavily, it actually looks intense haha People around me often say it turned out naturally well, and many tell me my eyes look comfortable. That is one of the reasons I feel I made the right choice by having incisional ptosis correction. Since it was a revision surgery, I had a lot of worries, but now that everything has settled stably, my satisfaction is really high. Rather than expecting bigger changes from here on, I think I am at the stage where I just hope this current look stays as it is 😊
