Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

Review 1.5 years after cheekbone surgery at Contour Standard

It has now been 1 year and 6 months since I had cheekbone surgery at Contour Standard. My side cheekbones were quite prominent, so I was stressed that my face looked wide from the side and in photos, even more than from the front. Even when I lost weight, it felt like my face size stayed the same, so I began considering cheekbone reduction surgery for a more fundamental improvement. Since I’m a man, I wanted my impression to look naturally refined rather than changed too drastically. After consultations at several clinics, I chose Contour Standard because Director Oh Jung Seok explained my facial bone structure in detail using CT scans and proposed a surgical plan focused on balance rather than excessive reduction. The consultation process was centered on realistic explanations without exaggeration, which made me trust them. During the first week after surgery, the swelling was severe, but the pain was more tolerable than I expected. After about 2 weeks, the swelling went down enough for me to go out, and by around one month, I felt that my facial line had become noticeably more refined. The biggest change after surgery is that the impression of my face spreading out sideways has decreased, and I look much neater. It doesn’t feel overly small, but rather like the overall balance has been adjusted, so people around me said my impression improved without it being too obvious. I’m also highly satisfied because my face looks smaller in photos than before, and I worry less about the angle. Over time, functional discomfort has almost completely disappeared, and currently there is no interference with my daily life at all. Overall, my image feels naturally more refined, so I’m fully satisfied in terms of improving my complex.
