Review of Being Sued and Questioned 2

Since it’s a holiday and I’m resting, I’ll continue writing

[Male Rhinoplasty] Review of reconstructing my nose after being assaulted [Male Rhinoplasty] Review 2 of my botched nose surgery after being assaulted, refund story [Rhinoplasty Surgery Review] My nose got botched and I got sued. Midway review

If you want to see the previous posts, go ahead. A lot of people seemed curious

A brief summary of the previous posts: My nose was smashed from an assault when I was young, I had one surgery in my 20s I was refused revision surgery at several hospitals One place said they would do it, so I had it done Nasal tip drooping Got half refunded I still couldn’t let it go Wrote a public-interest post Got contacted by the police

------------------------------------

First, the police contacted me

At first I thought it was voice phishing

They asked if I was the ID ***

who wrote the ** post

on the ** community

They said a complaint had been filed for false information and insult, or was it defamation

They asked when I could appear

I was scared, so I said I was busy and hung up

Then they kept contacting me every few days

I kept not answering

A summons notice arrived

Then I searched online

and it said summons notices come a few times

and if you ignore them, you can be arrested

I got scared this could become an even bigger problem

so the next time they called, I answered

set a date, and appeared

Compared with what I imagined,

they didn’t question me like they were treating me as a criminal in a movie

They just asked questions

My basic personal information

and that a complaint had been filed over content like ***

and asked if I was the one who wrote the post

At first I was so scared I was trembling

and couldn’t say anything, but later I came to my senses

and said, I clearly wrote that I wrote it for a public-interest purpose, so what’s wrong with that?

But,

these days

there are a lot of reports where people write that it’s for a public-interest purpose

while the content is insulting or defamatory

so they said writing that sentence doesn’t really mean much

The content matters

Anyway, I don’t even know what state of mind I was in during the questioning

but when it was all over, they showed me all the questions they had asked

and had me put my fingerprint on each page

So I did that and came out

I felt awful

and had a drink alone at home

I was so angry, but there was nothing I could do, so I felt powerless

So since I was already screwed anyway

I wrote posts elsewhere too

But what was even crazier was

a civil lawsuit for damages was also filed ㅡㅡ

I’ll talk about the civil lawsuit story next time
