My face was extremely wide and flat.. When I got a CT scan, it looked exactly like a square. A while ago, I went to get facial contouring injections, and they told me, "Customer, this is bone, so it won't be effective^^" That kind of facial bone, I guess haha
After worrying about it for over 15 years, I finally pushed ahead with surgery in my mid-30s, after getting all old. Huhu...
Right after surgery, the swelling hadn't come up that much yet, and even though I wasn't in my right mind then, I felt around my facial line and immediately thought, ah, this surgery was a success lololololol
If I just lose some swelling and fat, the facial line itself is perfect. The problem is that I recently made a fuss about quitting smoking and gained up to 58 kg at 160 cm^^ (I was originally 53 kg..)
For facial contouring, because of the initial swelling, in my case I couldn't eat rice for a week... I think I only started eating a little rice around day 7. Now when I open my mouth, two fingers barely fit or almost fit. The doctor said I can start practicing now, so after passing week 1 I practiced a lot, but it's still not easy lolololol
I had traditional facial contouring, so I got anterior cheekbone, lateral cheekbone, square jaw, chin tip (T-osteotomy), masseter reduction, and deep cheek fat removal, and for my nose, because of rhinitis, I had nasal soft-tissue hypertrophy resection and deviated septum correction, those two rhinitis surgeries, plus bulbous nose correction, nasal tip (septal cartilage, ear cartilage), and nasal bridge (silicone). At first the surgery was supposed to be with Director Seo Je-won, but because of the surgery schedule I had it with Director Kim Yoon-jung, and my side profile turned out so pretty ㅜㅜ I want the front view to look just a little sharper.... mmph.. lolol ㅠ But because of my original nose shape, any more is impossible lolol
Since I did functional nose surgery and cosmetic nose surgery together, plus 3-part facial contouring, honestly I don't think I slept for more than 30 minutes at a time for a week.. haha My nose was blocked all week.. and phlegm from my throat...ㅠ I almost suffocated from not being able to breathe and woke up startled lolololol Because of that, for a week I was like a sick chicken... Since I couldn't sleep properly, I slept in 30-minute chunks all day ㅠ
On top of that, after rhinitis surgery, you lose your sense of smell or taste for a while. In my case, from day 3 after surgery, I lost my sense of smell and taste for 5 days. But.... if you overcome the truly maddening pain... a new life opens up ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ Now my taste and smell have both returned, haha, and I'm fully enjoying the happiness of breathing through my nose..
For people who do 3-part facial contouring together with functional and cosmetic nose surgery like me, especially.. please keep in mind that taking only 1 week off work will be very hard...ㅠ
Right now I'm recovering well, and the major swelling in my nose has gone down, so I think it will pretty much stay in its current shape. I'm still really looking forward to the facial contouring results.
The doctor also felt it and said the swelling will go down much more. It's still very puffy...... haha..
I hated how wide and flat my face was, so I wanted to reduce the horizontal width a lot, and the line is honestly almost perfectㅠ (the bone line you can feel when you touch it..) The doctor also said they paid the most attention to reducing the horizontal width ㅠㅠ
On top of that, what was good was.. they noticed I had a bit of malocclusion, but said I didn't need two-jaw surgery and that they would slightly set my chin back. So even more ㅜㅜㅜ I think that made the side profile come out pretty.ㅠㅠㅠ I'm touched.. doctor-god..ㅠㅠ Some hospitals make a fuss trying to get you to do two-jaw surgery even when you don't need it.. Sob sob..ㅠㅠ My boyfriend doesn't recognize me.. he's asking where the girlfriend he knew went
When I sent photos of my surgery to my coworkers too ㅜㅜ everyone is making a fuss because they want to do it too ㅠㅠ Once the swelling goes down, I'm going to live a new life!!!!
