I worried about getting rhinoplasty for 15 years. When I saw people around me who had nose surgery.. they looked really unnatural, and I didn’t see any pretty noses. Since it’s an area with so many complication issues.. I wondered if I should just live with the nose I was born with, but then I decided to have surgery💪🏻 I did online research, but didn’t go around to many clinics in person, and picked Dr. Lee Dong-eun ⭐️ The reason is, first of all, he slowly listened to everything the patient had to say and explained every single thing in detail. From a doctor’s perspective it may be tiring, but from a patient’s perspective it’s a really big decision, so if they rush the consultation because they don’t have time, I can never trust them. I had the consultation, signed the contract the same day, and left. Seeing that Dr. Lee Dong-eun’s review photos were all very naturally pretty, they matched my needs perfectly. I really dislike flashy noses and noses that look like chalk, so I emphasized that again and again.
1. Concerns Short nose. The upturned look wasn’t severe, so people around me also said it wasn’t to the point of needing surgery, but I know.. my nose when I take photos.. My nasal bridge wasn’t on the high side, but it also wasn’t collapsed, so 😅
2. Surgery date: 2.14 🍫 Short nose correction Hump correction
3. Materials Donated costal cartilage Silicone 2 mm Autologous dermis (because my nasal skin is tight, I was worried it might show through)
4. Needs I’m sure everyone says this, but I emphasized that I wanted the nasal tip brought out in a rounded, natural way. I asked for the bridge to be made natural to match that.. and endlessly emphasized that I didn’t want it to become thin or pointy
5. Progress After the surgery ended, I was moved to the recovery room, but I don’t even remember it.. It hurt so much I thought I was going to die, so I asked for an additional painkiller prescription They said the packing would be removed the next day, but that one day was so hard it felt like I was going to lose my mind. They said it would get much better once the packing was removed.. so I expected that, but nothing changed at all and I lived in pain.. The bruising and swelling were also very severe, so I lived without looking in the mirror.. When I went to have the packing removed, the doctor was surprised too😮 There was an issue that it seemed like blood had collected, but the conclusion was that it probably wasn’t that.. After 5 hellish days passed, I went to have the stitches removed.. but it was so swollen.. after removal, they taped it again.. I didn’t even get to see my nose... 5 days later, I removed the tape by myself.. The nose shape was okay.. I couldn’t really tell because of the swelling Time passed like that, and my current nose is in the photos.. The swelling is still going down, so I’m looking forward to the one-month mark 🤥
