Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

1-year review after a facelift

A full year has already flown by since I had the surgery, and looking back, I really shared so many changes in the community during that time. The prominent wrinkles around my eyes, the sagging jawline, the stretched skin on my neck... The discouragement that drained the energy from my life~ Seeing it in photos made me feel every day that I had changed even more.

Still, compared with other friends my age, I had always paid a lot of attention to my appearance, so even small changes bothered me more and became stressful.

So even if it meant I might never be able to buy a fur coat again, I scraped together every bit of money I had and went through with the major surgery called a facelift.

At first after surgery, there was swelling, and I felt the scars and side effects, but they did not stand out to me that much.

I had not even touched my eyes, but they were so swollen that it was hard to find the bathroom, and with IV lines inserted and tubes in my face, my forehead, ears, and neck all stitched up, and lifting tape on, it felt tight, uncomfortable, and painful.

Still, after the stitches were removed around day 10, even that much made me feel like I could live again.

After about 1 month, I could put on makeup, go to the market, and go out. I also started exercising again, met people face to face, and went to church too ^^

Even up to 3 months after surgery, there was not yet any obvious look of being younger. But maybe because my cheekbones were swollen, the area beside my eyes looked sunken, it looked uneven, and I was dissatisfied.

By the time around 6 months had passed? People I knew started often saying that my facial features were the same, but I looked younger.

I changed the place where I exercise and went there, and the people there saw me as about 10 years younger than my actual age.

I do not know when I will post another review again, but while uploading before-and-after photos, sharing my changed appearance, and communicating with others who have various concerns, I felt happy ^^

I feel truly very grateful to Director Kang Chang-min at the plastic surgery clinic, who allowed me to feel these emotions even after passing the age of 60.

For those in the same age group as me, people around their 60s... If you are hesitating about surgery, I hope you will try to think about it positively rather than with too much negativity.
