Review of a Second Revision Epicanthoplasty Reconstruction

Previously, during my first reconstruction, I only tried to get rid of the scar, but my eyes were completely ruined. Then I had surgery at a well-known secondary canthoplasty clinic on the left side and ended up with all the worst side effects, so I lived in despair. But because I was suffering so much from mild eyelid ectropion, even though there were concerns about overcorrection, it seemed like a truly specialized clinic for epicanthoplasty reconstruction, so I decided to have the surgery. During the secondary canthoplasty, because of the doctor who said he would remove the under-eye aegyosal scar, something I had never asked for during the consultation, and basically cut away the aegyosal almost as if removing it, my eyes looked hollow and I was suffering so much. But the director restored it as much as possible.. What I regret so much is that if I hadn’t had the secondary canthoplasty, I feel like I could have gone completely back to my old eyes, so I’m upset that I went through such a long detour.. Still, my eyes are really much closer to how they used to be, so I feel happy every time I look in the mirror. I’m managing it really strictly so it doesn’t open up again, and I never want to have eye surgery again..
