I decided to have surgery because I was concerned about the bulbous appearance of my nose from the front and my indistinct impression. First of all, among all the clinics I visited for both procedures and surgeries, Between Plastic Surgery Clinic gave the kindest and most thorough consultation, so I was able to feel comfortable even on the day of surgery, which was great. I think I had a lot of requests and explained things vaguely, but it came out exactly with the feeling I wanted, so I was amazed lol. Director Lee Ji-hwan personally gave me a very thorough consultation. They used my septal cartilage and ear cartilage, and I used a custom implant! The custom implant was definitely more expensive, but since I thought of it as something that would stay in my body, I chose it even though the cost was burdensome because they said it has far fewer side effects. As for swelling, about 80% seemed to be gone one week later when the splint was removed, and I had no bruising. It changed to a fairly glamorous look, but maybe because the shape doesn’t look like an obviously operated-on nose, people around me didn’t realize I had surgery. If you don’t like the “surgery nose” look but want your features to look more defined, I highly recommend it. If you like a very dramatic and obviously noticeable look, I don’t recommend it. I spent 10 years thinking about it, and I regret not doing it sooner haha. I’m one month post-op now, and there’s no scarring around the stitch area.. I think the swelling has gone down even more. It doesn’t hurt even when I pat my nose while applying makeup, and it already feels like my own nose!! I’m very, very satisfied. Thank you, doctors🫶🏻
