I never thought I’d end up writing a nose surgery review....... I was absolutely not going to write one if I hated it after surgery, but I’m recovering pretty smoothly, so I’m leaving a review ^^ I had a typical East Asian nose. You know, the kind that anyone could see was small and bulbous, you know what I mean? But people around me were like, “Your nose is fine, why get surgery?” When I looked in the mirror myself, though, I seriously thought it looked like a chestnut nose...... So I had already made up my mind that I wanted nose surgery, but if I got a flashy nose that didn’t suit me at all, I felt like it wouldn’t match my other facial features, and people around me would obviously ask why I even did it. So I read reviews really thoroughly and went around for consultations to improve it naturally. To share the information from the places I consulted: A. Silicone, septal cartilage, donated costal cartilage, correction of bulbous nose, nasolabial angle, and nasal tip B. Silicone, septal cartilage, autologous costal cartilage, bulbous nose, nasal bone refinement, alar reduction C. Silicone, septal cartilage, bulbous nose correction It was like this, you know? The method I had done was A. First, the reason I didn’t go with B was that this was the only place that recommended alar reduction, and when I asked at another hospital, the director almost looked like ㅡㅡ?? and said my nose wasn’t one that needed alar reduction. He said it’s true that I have a bulbous nose, but that’s because the nasal tip is bulbous, and if the nostril wings were reduced, it would become a nose that’s hard to breathe through. So I passed on hospital B…. And with C, at first I thought, since they recommended materials the most conservatively, maybe this was a recommendation without overtreatment?? But when I looked at their reviews, most cases were set very conservatively, and to my eyes it was kind of….. should I say there wasn’t much change? Anyway, it’s still an open surgery, but the difference was almost at the level of a procedure, so I realized using fewer materials doesn’t automatically mean success. And I liked the nasal aesthetic at A the most, so I had surgery at that clinic. But this is just my standard, and everyone should set their own criteria and get surgery..... Copying someone else for surgery is so. not. recommended....!!!!!! Anyway, I only used 2 mm of silicone, and the director said if we raised it more from there, the skin on the nasal bridge would get thin, so he didn’t recommend it, and I listened ㅇㅇ And since septal cartilage and donated costal cartilage were used together, I was a little worried, but aside from breathing feeling more stuffy than I expected (I’m not saying it was easy xx), it was okay… Maybe because they didn’t take ear cartilage, even when I unknowingly slept slightly on my side, it didn’t hurt much. Instead, I slept with body pillows on both sides so my nose wouldn’t get pressed. I did this for about 2 weeks...... Still, I really really really like my nose now.... It came out just as the director designed it, and it’s so fascinating. A lot of people say their image changed after getting their nose done, right? But I really hate that, so I told the director I didn’t want it to be that much, and it’s exactly just my original facial image with only the nose changed, so I really really like it..... Feels like only my nose was refined with a retouching app? This is actually possible;;; My satisfaction after getting my nose done keeps growing day by day.... Even if I went back in time, I’d definitely get my nose done..
