This is my 6-week review of under-eye fat repositioning with Director Kim Jong-gyu at Eiting. I’m leaving an honest review of my current condition, just after passing the 6-week mark, in case it may be even a little helpful to those considering surgery.
First, I’ll write about why I chose this hospital. Personally, I’m quite picky when it comes to choosing a hospital. There’s a reason for that: I also worked for 13 years at a hospital with more than 500 employees, so I naturally notice things like a hospital’s system, the atmosphere in the operating room, and sterilization management.
After receiving consultations at several places, there were three main reasons I chose Director Kim Jong-gyu.
1. Consultation directly with the director These days, in many places, the consultation manager handles most of the consultation, but here, after the manager, the director personally conducted the consultation. He looked at my face directly, explained my current condition, and realistically told me how much improvement was possible and where I should lower my expectations, which actually made me trust him more.
2. Extremely detailed explanation I hadn’t gone in thinking about under-eye fat repositioning, but he calmly and professionally explained in great detail why I needed it, so I gained trust.
3. The atmosphere of a veteran team felt in the operating room This was the part that made me trust them even more on the day of surgery. When you enter an operating room, you can honestly feel the skill level of the team, and here, I strongly felt that they were a team that had worked together for a long time. I was shaking so much that they even held my handㅜㅜ The movement flow, preparation, and equipment setup were very orderly, and the director and staff moved precisely without being unnecessarily busy. Especially because I consider operating-room sterilization and hygiene management important, from the perspective of someone who has worked in a hospital for a long time, I felt that they were very serious about hygiene and sterilization. Personally, this was a pretty big point of trust for me.

Current condition at 6 weeks • Most of the major swelling has almost gone down • My under-eye area looks lively and I don’t look tired • I look much younger
To describe the result, rather than a dramatic, obvious transformation, it feels like my overall facial impression has become more refined. People around me mostly ask, “Did you lose weight?” and almost no one immediately notices that I had surgery, but close friends and family asked right away what I had done.
I liked that about it. For those who want a surgery that naturally tidies things up without looking obvious, I really highly recommend it.
I hope this is even a little helpful to those considering surgery.
