Leaving a review after complete removal

I found out through lurking in this community’s hospital info that there were three major places, so I had it done at ㅅㅅㅇ@.@ It’s such a hassle, but thanks to the hospital info I got here, I was able to get the surgery safely, so I even signed up and am leaving a review. I had hump correction a very long time ago, and it was done with osteotomy, silicone, and septal cartilage like that, through an open approach.. I didn’t have any other additional material(?) inserted. Well, I hadn’t had any inflammation or abnormal reactions all this time. I was worried that the remaining silicone would definitely cause problems someday when I got older, and my nasal tip was excessively sharp, but the septal cartilage was so hard that every time I bumped it somewhere, it was so annoying and suffocating.. When I imagined myself still having this nose at around age 50🤔 it felt too embarrassing, so I thought, let’s just become free~! and went for consultations. I went to ㅅㅅㅇ first and then ㄱㅇㅅ afterward, and I liked both consultations. Detailed and clear explanations. There were no unnecessary(?) recommendations, and they gave me alternative options too, so I could choose.. The surgery plan was almost the same at both places, so I chose ㅅㅅㅇ because they could schedule surgery sooner and the cost was almost around 2 million won;; cheaper~! They were going to cleanly remove everything: the capsule, whatever else, the septal cartilage that had been placed like a support strut, and the silicone, and only reposition the cartilage beside the nasal alae to reshape the nasal tip. Well, since it wasn’t exactly a revision surgery concept and there would be no supporting object, even with cartilage repositioning, they couldn’t create a specific nasal tip shape I wanted, but they said they would shape it as close as possible to my original nose shape, so I just trusted them and went aheadㅇㅇ If I had to say the difference between the two, at ㄱㅇㅅ it felt like they considered the aesthetic side a little more, and the explanation was very professional. And it felt like they kept explaining the nasal structure until I understood it..? Since the doctor was fairly older, I thought he’d be super stern and serious, but it was an unexpectedly energetic consultation.. ㅅㅅㅇ felt like he really only said what needed to be said~! I wondered if he was a bit low-energy but he told me everything I was curious about, so it didn’t matter.. I was just very happy to fortunately hear that complete removal was possible for my nose🤤 The surgery was done straight through under sedation without waking me up in the middle, and I came out after about two and a half hours. As soon as I woke up and looked in the mirror for the first time, it didn’t seem like anything had gone wrong, and it felt like it looked okay Of course it would, only 30 minutes had passed. After hearing the care instructions and precautions, on the way home~!! My nose kept swelling and getting bigger Well....you can think of it as feeling like it doubled in size.. It was funny, so I kept laughing, and the stitches under my nose felt tight. But they said making facial expressions won’t cause problems with the stitches under the nose Well, of course, don’t touch the stitched area much and apply ointment four times a day. Washing with just water is possible from the next day, and washing with foam cleanser is possible from day 4. Washing hair is possible from day 4 too, but they told me to avoid bending my head down like usual for a month, so I’m just going to pay to get it washed at a salon😇 Swelling and bruising of course vary by person, but they also told me 4 weeks here. Ah, the most important thing~!! I didn’t have a splint and they didn’t block my nostrils, so it’s heaven Since my nostrils aren’t blocked, seriously....it’s so nice. Worrying is for the me one month later Right now, I just love how light it feels and how my nose feels smaller~!! I only hope it heals well like this, haha
