Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

I’m Losing My Mind

I had my third rhinoplasty on May 19, and they put autologous rib cartilage in my nasal tip. I kept going for follow-ups because I could feel it too much and my nasal tip was uneven, so I kept making appointments and visiting, but the doctor was like... I was so angry. I went all that long way and couldn’t hear anything satisfactory. What? Because it’s revision surgery? The unevenness is asymmetry? I keep feeling anxious and nervous.. No, what do you mean asymmetry And even if it had been uneven before, isn’t the whole point of going to the doctor to fix that? The last time, I came all the way up from the provinces, lost my temper with the doctor and showed I was a bit angry, and their reaction was slightly different from before Aftercare? The dedicated nurse looks like she has a really nasty strong attitude, and they said to come around November to check the 6-month progress But now one side of my nasal tip is drooping, and at the tip, just as I was worried, it’s starting to show through, and on the other side next to the nasal tip, if I press my lips together and put strength into my nose, it shows through too If I leave it like this, won’t it keep pushing downward, show through more, and eventually poke through? Ugh, when I signed the consent form, I saw that AS is available within 1 year, but if I make an appointment and go in November for the 6-month follow-up, I feel like they’ll say something ridiculous again. Is the hospital even going to take responsibility for this? Are they going to say it’s fine again and tell me to come back for another follow-up in a few months? If it doesn’t poke through within the 1-year AS period, are they going to act like it’s not their problem? For reference, I paid 16 million won at this hospital that felt totally like a factory, doing a bunch of things all at once, and I couldn’t get out of the operating room for 12 hours. Isn’t this aftercare way too much? I’m seriously furious, and it’s almost been 6 months since surgery but I’m looking only at my nose every day. But since I look at my own nose every day, how would anyone else know I’m asking for advice. I’d also appreciate information on hospitals that are good at reconstructive surgery
