I don't know if I should call it pain.. There are a lot of times when I keep feeling like yawning or sneezing, and each time, I end up putting force into my nostrils. When my nose tingles and I tense up, it hurts, so I hold it with my hand, and barely manage to relax and get through it.. A little while ago, after another near-yawn moment passed and I put force into my nostrils, my nasal tip started hurting with a tingling, prickly sensation. It's just a slight ticklish/tingly feeling, but is it okay? Could something be wrong?
Also, the cellophane tape placed inside my nose feels like it's drying out and irritating the mucous membrane. When I looked it up, it seemed other clinics tell people to apply ointment even before stitch removal to maintain moisture. Mine says to start applying it only after stitch removal.. I'd rather have a runny nose, but maybe because it's dry, I don't even have that, so I'm just holding out with a humidifier on. I want to apply even Vaseline, but I'm scared something might go wrong, so I can'tㅠ The nasal tip feels tight and keeps tingling and prickling. Is this normally like this? I barely have anything like a runny nose or nosebleed separately.
I really have been doing everything they told me to, walking a lot, taking medicine, icing diligently.. Nothing is going wrong, right?
