About 10 years ago, I had buried-suture double eyelid surgery at a hospital my mom knew (kind of like a dermatology clinic...), and back then I didn’t even look into it; I just listened to my mom and went there. It ended up looking no different from my original inner double eyelids, so I had incisional double eyelid surgery again at that same hospital... (I regret this choice so much I could beat the ground) But as expected, a hospital that botched it once is a botched hospital lol. Like in the before photo, the line became completely low and smudged, almost invisible, and I originally had some ptosis, but my right eye was so hard to deal with because the double eyelid came undone + the existing ptosis. So while I was taking time off work, I decided I should get double eyelid surgery again, did tons of online research, personally went to about 6 consultations, and made a really careful decision...! I was so depressed that I wondered if my eye structure itself was the problem, but since everyone recommended ptosis correction as essential, it turned out the surgery had been done wrong... haha. So among them, I had surgery at a hospital with a single-director system where the aesthetic direction matched what I wanted the best, and I’m extremely satisfied with the result. First of all, opening my eyes has become so much easier and my field of vision feels comfortable... That alone is so good and satisfying, but I got the glamorous...! eyes I wanted so badlyㅠㅠ They had told me that even though the line was that low, it was already about 10 mm so they couldn’t raise it more, and that if they raised it more it would look strange like sausage eyelids. But this doctor was the only one who said it seemed possible to raise it by about 1 mm more because there was space, so I went ahead with it, and I’m really so satisfiedㅠㅠ It has exactly that full, glamorous look. These are my eyes exactly 1 month after surgery, and now taking photos is fun haha. First of all, it used to be hard because I always had to correct my uneven eyes in photos, but now I don’t have to go through that process, so I love it! Extremely satisfied. That was a slightly excited review from someone on her third double eyelid surgery.
