Worried about a support graft..

It’s been about 11 years since my surgery, and right now I only have a straight silicone implant that goes all the way to the nasal tip. If it were up to me, I’d just like to have it removed with a closed approach and only do cartilage repositioning. But they said that after removing the silicone, if the nasal tip cartilage has no strength (apparently they won’t know until they open the nose), they would need to place an ear cartilage support graft in the columella. And if they place a support graft, of course it has to be done with an open approach, and the cost goes up a lot too. I went to all of the three major clinics, and only one place said I don’t need a support graft and can just remove it. The other two said both closed (simple removal) and open (adding a support graft) are possible, but they said it in a way that meant I’d have to accept the possibility of the nasal tip drooping if I simply remove it with a closed approach. Oh, and one hospital said that if I add a support graft, I won’t be able to make a pig nose, while another hospital said I still can make a pig nose. They also said the support graft has a 0% chance of side effects.. Is something like tightness/pulling in the columella after putting in a support graft not counted as a side effect..? Anyway, I keep wondering if I’m making this into too big of a procedure by going as far as an open approach and an ear cartilage support graft, when maybe just removal + cartilage repositioning would be enough. But then again, since the silicone has been in for so long, I wonder if cartilage repositioning alone has its limits, and I’m worried about what if I only do removal and cartilage repositioning and my nasal tip droops later Please share your opinions, everyone!
