As I got older, it had been a little over 10 years since I had double eyelid surgery with the buried suture method, and one eye came undone, so my double eyelid became multiple creases. That’s why I decided to have revision surgery.
I had consultations at about three places, and I decided to have surgery with Dr. Lee Hanbyeol at Eiting because I liked the line more during the consultation and felt I could trust him. I had heard from an acquaintance that Dr. Lee Hanbyeol was from a famous hospital, so I was curious, and he really did carefully design the line.
Since I’m older now, I wondered whether I should go with a definite incisional method, but the doctor said that natural adhesion would be enough for my eyes and that adding ptosis correction would help prevent the multiple creases caused by aging a bit more, so I decided to add ptosis correction too. Even on the day of surgery, he kept checking the line carefully, and after surgery I had almost no bruising, so even the next day I was able to go around outside with swollen eyes lol. However, the swelling in my left eye went down a little more slowly, so at first I worried that my eyes had become uneven, but after about 5 days both eyes looked similar, so I felt relieved. Around one month, it seemed like the swelling had gone down more and more naturally.
People around me say my impression looks clearer than before and that the line is pretty without being excessive, so I’m fairly satisfied. For those who are considering revision surgery because of multiple eyelid creases like me, I recommend going in for a consultation at least once~
