My nose was not originally on the low side, but it had a strong bulbous-nose appearance and looked spread out overall. From the front, my nasal tip looked round and wide, so my face looked chubbier than it actually was, which stressed me out. It was especially noticeable in photos. Other people said it looked fine, but to my eyes, my nose stood out first, so I kept worrying about it and eventually started considering surgery.
I went to consultations at several clinics. Some places focused too much on a very glamorous style, and some explanations were so brief that they actually made me feel uneasy. The director here matched well with the direction I wanted during the consultation, and the before-and-after photos on social media had exactly the style I was looking for.
The consultant also played a big role in the consultation atmosphere. I was nervous when I first went in, but she made it comfortable for me to talk, and I liked that she explained the surgical method and costs honestly. There was no feeling at all of “you should add this too” in an excessive way. She first asked about the parts I was concerned about and organized the plan accordingly, so I didn’t feel pressured.
I’m currently two weeks post-op, and I’m very satisfied. Before, my nose stood out first and made my face look heavy, but now it feels like the overall balance is right.
