3 years ago, I had nose surgery with silicone + septal cartilage, and something like a large pimple kept coming up often on the lower part of the nasal bridge. The intervals between these episodes have been getting shorter, and I think it’s probably inflammation, so I think I’ll need revision surgery. The nasal tip is also a bit crooked.. What I’m curious about is, between removing the silicone and doing revision surgery without an implant at the same time, versus first removing the silicone and then doing revision surgery after everything has healed, which would be better? I haven’t had any consultations yet and haven’t looked for a hospital either, but I’m worried that if I have to remove it and then have revision surgery a few months later, that period will be too long Also, when removing silicone due to inflammation, is it common to remove everything, including the septal cartilage at the nasal tip?
