I had nose surgery 10 years ago. I searched around because I wanted to have it done by a board-certified plastic surgeon. But although the signboard said it was a specialist clinic, I later found out there were two directors, and I think it was the anesthesiology director who was the specialist or something like that. They were able to use the specialist signboard thanks to the other director.
After 10 years, I don't know if it was because their reputation wasn't very good or for some other reason, but the name has changed, and now it seems like the doctor works alone and uses a clinic signboard. They also moved, and at the time, it was the most expensive hospital among the places I consulted. I was young, so I thought an ENT director would be better at it... but I am not satisfied with the result. In the end, I found someone who had surgery at the same hospital as me, and that person had the same unsatisfactory points in common with me.
It is not such a severe side effect that it makes life difficult, but I developed rhinitis. If I could go back, I would not want to have it done at that hospital.
