First of all, I’m one month post-op, and I think I got the 3-part contouring done at a fairly affordable price. It was my third cosmetic surgery at the same clinic (I had my eyes and liposuction done before) + my mom also had surgery there, etc., so I think they gave me a big discount!! My original face didn’t really have any major flaws, but when I smiled, my cheekbones protruded from the side profile, and my lower jaw looked long when I smiled.. What I requested was: please make my lower face shorter and shave down the front cheekbones <<
For now, at one month post-op, I think the swelling has gone down moderately! Everyone says it’s obvious that my face has gotten smaller and the lines look more refined!! I’m also satisfied so far because I think they shaved it well according to what I requested, and since my skin elasticity was originally good (the clinic said so too), I don’t really notice any sagging?
As for downsides, first of all, it seriously hurts like fucking crazy... It really hurts so damn much. For the first time, I regretted getting cosmetic surgery (only on the day of surgery). On the day itself, it just hurt like I was going to die... I regretted taking only one week of annual leave. I should’ve taken two weeks...
And even now, my lower jaw still feels a bit tingling? and the sensation is dull, but every day, the area where the nerves are coming back is gradually expanding.. Sensitive people would probably be really shocked. I’m the type who thinks it’s okay even if I lose sensation as long as I get prettier, so I’m not too bothered by it.
Anyway, it’s a major surgery and it really hurts like crazy.. Everyone, please make up your mind firmly before doing it!!
