Nose Surgery Reviews

My short nose was perfectly improved with revision rhinoplasty - VN review~

It’s already been a month since my revision surgery, so I’m writing a review~:) I originally preferred a more glamorous nose shape, but after my first surgery, I was like, “Huh?” Even after all the swelling went down, the design wasn’t my style at all, and despite having surgery, my nose still looked way too small and didn’t look like a straight-to-curved profile, so I ended up going for revision surgery.. Since I had my revision surgery 2 years after my first surgery, I felt unsettled, and this time I thought I really needed to research clinics properly~ I didn’t just visit clinics based on reviews. I considered the reviews, the director’s style, and the nose shape before going in person for consultations. I think the total consultation time at VN was close to 1 hour~ After registration + waiting + the full consultation, it took quite a bit of time. Even considering there was some waiting, my first-surgery consultation was almost done in 10 minutes Just from that, I could feel the difference. Here, CT imaging is basically treated as an essential, as if it’s completely natural, and the director checks the size of the nasal septum and the condition of the nose with CT, then even runs a virtual simulation to look at the nose shape. From reading reviews, I felt that Director Oh Seung-il generally makes noses look natural (but it also seemed like he was good at creating a straight-to-curved shape, so I went for a consultation), but once I actually had the consultation, he looked at the design according to the conditions I wanted. He really checked all the details, even the columella and nasolabial angle, and for the nasal material too, he let me decide mostly based on what I preferred most. At other clinics, even after the consultations, there were one or two things that felt ambiguous, but VN didn’t have that, so I think that’s why I ended up getting revision surgery there. I had an open approach using donated costal cartilage, with septal extension, cartilage repositioning, and cartilage tying all together. After surgery, the splint was still uncomfortable, but I think my expectations were just as big~ What definitely looked different from my first surgery was that thanks to the septal extension, my nose length no longer looks too small or just short! And I said I had cartilage tying at the nasal tip, right? Because of that, the slim, refined look came out well too. Before revision surgery, I was worried because my nose lacked overall three-dimensionality But after getting the revision, I think it turned out glamorous and well. The reviews here for closed rhinoplasty are also so good that if I’d known it would be like this, I wish I’d had my first surgery at VN with a closed approach from the start~~~~ Still, I’m going to live satisfied that it turned out well even now. I don’t think I’ll ever research carelessly again when getting plastic surgery.. After going through revision surgery too, I realized that with plastic surgery, it’s really important to choose according to the design you want~
