I spent a long time worrying about revision rhinoplasty

I really tried to hold out and not get revision rhinoplasty, but even as time passed, it kept bothering me I only had a consultation here in 2022, then in 2023 I had surgery somewhere else first, using ear cartilage with no implant. Even after more than a year, the line still wasn’t the look I wanted, the nasal tip felt lacking, and the overall balance kept bothering me. What I originally wanted was something close to a naturally glamorous straight-to-slightly-curved profile, and I wanted to refine the bulbous-nose look and the long-looking nose, while also correcting the deviated nose. This time, I went for another consultation and heard the consultant’s explanation, then had a consultation with the director as well. They explained a plan to keep the nasal bridge in a no-implant direction, correct the nasal tip together with the bulbous and long nose, supplement the mid-bridge height, and address the deviated nose too. They also explained the reason for using autologous costal cartilage in a way that made sense for my case, and that was the biggest factor. What I liked was that they didn’t just raise my expectations, but explained the limitations first. They clearly told me that since my facial axis is originally a little crooked, it would be difficult to correct it 100% completely through surgery. After hearing that kind of explanation, I actually trusted them more. After surgery, the stuffy feeling at the nasal tip decreased, and the long-looking impression was refined, so my overall impression became much cleaner. Once the mid-bridge line came alive, my nose looked less spread out from the front too, and my satisfaction when taking photos went way up. Rather than feeling like my nose changed into a completely different person’s nose, it feels like it was refined to suit my face, and right now that’s what I like most I spent a long time worrying about revision rhinoplasty
