Review of Under-Eye Fat Repositioning at Hanmi Plastic Surgery

Before getting my nose done, I wanted to get under-eye fat repositioning, so I searched online and went around to consultations really diligently. There weren’t many reviews about having it done at Hanmi Plastic Surgery, so I’m writing this in the hope that it helps even a little. Oh, one pre-op precaution that I remember was that they told me not to wear eye makeup with shimmer from 4 days before surgery. My appointment was at 11:30, so I went by 11 and waited a bit. Before going into surgery, I had one more consultation with the director. But I thought I was getting sedation anesthesia, and it turns out they just use local anesthesia here..!! I only realized after hearing them say it to another patient on the day of surgery!! They probably told me too, but I don’t remember Since it wasn’t sedation, I went into the operating room feeling super nervous The antibiotic injection before surgery really hurt, like they kept a needle stuck in me, and the anesthetic injection around the eye hurt a little, but other than that nothing hurt. I think the surgery took about 1 hour and 30 minutes while I chatted with the director here and there? I was literally fully awake for it, but it wasn’t bad Every now and then I could feel something pulling under my eyes, but it didn’t hurt or anything. It was just a sensation I’d never felt before..? After surgery, my vision was blurry and I couldn’t see well, like there was sand in my eyes. I rested for about 20 minutes? while doing cold compresses, then was discharged. Usually you come in the next day for a follow-up, but the clinic was closed for me, so I had my follow-up on day 3 including the surgery day, and they told me to come again the next day, so I went again on day 4. I think the director personally removed the tape on day 4. As soon as he saw me, he said, “Why did it turn out so pretty?” and that made me feel good But he said if the slight Mongolian fold line keeps bothering me, I should come back, though it doesn’t bother me,,, (He had also told me during the pre-op consultation that the existing line wouldn’t disappear.) I was fine with the director’s way of speaking and style overall (people may have different preferences), and I’m very satisfied with the surgical result! (It’s been about 50 days now.) People have told me my under-eyes definitely look brighter, so I’m happy It’s definitely more expensive than other places, but this was the place I felt most drawn to, and I’m satisfied with my current state! Of course, not everyone can be satisfied, but it was good for me, and I hope this post helps someone.
