Review on Day N After Lateral and Lower Canthoplasty

Hi~ I’m someone who got lateral and lower canthoplasty this time I’m writing this to get points + share information

While searching online, I picked based on the review photos I liked, then listened to the explanation at the place where I got the earliest consultation appointment and booked right away

They said it would be sedation anesthesia + I’d wake up during the surgery to look at the doctor, so I had to fast for 4 hours before surgery, so I went without even drinking water~ After arriving at the clinic, I saw the director once, met with the consultant, signed the consent form, waited about 20 minutes, and got on the operating table Maybe because it was a pretty well-known place with lots of people, the operating table was clean and properly set upㅋㅋㅋ The place where I got double eyelid surgery before was really simple and dark, with only the director + one nurse, so it felt a bit iffy, but this place was good They said I couldn’t move during sedation anesthesia, so they restrained my arms and legs, and I got a little nervous. When they said the sedative? was going in, I was worried like, what if I don’t fall asleepㅠㅠ But for real, when I opened my eyes, the surgery was over Other than the moments when the doctor woke me up in between and told me to look here and there, I don’t remember anything. Totally fascinating ㅋㅋㅋ Aside from feeling slightly dizzy when getting off the operating table, there was no pain I rested in the recovery room for about 30 minutes, then when I came out they told me to go home, so I went home

My mom looked at me and complimented me, saying my eyes definitely opened up and my impression changed to look cute To me, it does look a bit overcorrected, but that’s what I was told during the consultation, and they said it would come up after the stitches are removed, so I’m waiting I think the bloody pus + swelling will get better if I take my medicine well and keep doing warm/cold compresses properly. When I go outside for walks, my eyes feel a bit stinging Daily life is totally possible, but it looks a bit unsightly and I’m sleeping more, so I took annual leave and am resting from work. I’m satisfied~~

Conclusion 1. The most painful thing so far -> getting the IV needle injection 2. Once the eyes opened up, my impression became softer. I regret not doing it earlier 3. Seems like some recovery time is needed. I get very sleepy.
