The atmosphere felt faster-paced rather than calmer than I expected. They did mark the line for me as soon as I went in, but it didn’t feel like they spent a long time looking at and analyzing my eye structure. Instead of explaining why my eyes currently look the way they do, the conversation mainly focused on what surgical methods would be possible. They only briefly compared the difference between non-incisional and incisional methods, so it was a bit insufficient for understanding the detailed differences. I was only given a rough timeline for swelling and the recovery period, and the risks were not covered in depth. The consultation wasn’t unfriendly, but it didn’t feel like an atmosphere where I was given enough time to think things over.
