It’s been 2 weeks since I had surgery with Dr. Lee Dong-eun: 1 mm silicone for the nasal bridge + donated rib cartilage for the nasal tip! Besides this clinic, I went to consultations at 5-6 other places, and I had my consultation here almost last. The doctor explained everything in detail, and before the consultation, they used the CT scan and camera photos of me as references, drawing as they explained! The reason I chose this clinic was, as I said, because the doctor’s consultation was detailed. I thought my nose was just a long nose with a drooping nasal tip + a bulbous nose, and while it was definitely bulbous, the doctor also pointed out that it had characteristics of an upturned nose. They explained that if I only corrected the bulbous nose, I wouldn’t get the nose shape I wanted. I think the fact that they pointed this out was the biggest reason I chose this clinic! Because of school, I was trying to schedule the surgery in a hurry, and luckily I was able to get it done within the period I wanted, so I was really relieved haha! If I had come even a little later, I might have had to do it much later.. On the day of surgery, I went alone without a guardian! I arrived at the hospital, met the doctor, had my nose design done, lay down on the operating table, and when I opened my eyes I was in the recovery room. After I was discharged and went home, I checked my face, and there was no swelling or bruising. Even though I had a splint on, I liked the line, so I felt good haha. Like anyone, aside from the cotton packing being uncomfortable, from days 1 to 3 the swelling wasn’t severe either, just about the level of having eaten ramen and slept, so I think I was a bit surprised. (When I had double eyelid surgery somewhere else 5 years ago, the bruising and swelling were so... severe that I thought I was the type who swells easily, so I had kind of prepared myself for it.. haha) From day 4 until day 7, when the nasal splint came off, of course I hadn’t had swelling on days 1 to 3, so I didn’t have swelling then either. Aside from my face being extremely, extremely, extremely oily and not being able to wash properly, I think I ate well, slept well, and had fun. Of course, the biggest thing was probably that the surgery went well, but when I was discharged after surgery, the hospital gave me some kind of stick for swelling? (It tasted like herbal medicine, so if you’re curious about the info, I think you could just buy something similar at a pharmacy! I can’t remember..) Maybe the swelling was less because of that? Even after the splint came off, I really, really liked the line! Aside from slight yellow bruising around the eyes, the doctor said my progress was good and that I didn’t need an additional antibiotic prescription, so I’ve been doing well up to now haha. So, to give my conclusion! What I like most after rhinoplasty is that my face became more three-dimensional, so my protruding mouth improved! And even though only my nose changed, photo retouching has become much easier than before! This might sound way too obvious, but before, there were areas like my face shape or parts that lacked volume and had to be filled in, and after doing my nose, it feels like I don’t have to do that anymore? I think that’s how you can think of it haha. Lastly, from the front, my nose looks just like the way I usually edited my nose to look, so I liked that they upgraded me to a better version without harming my original vibe!! The downside is that I like my side profile so much that I keep taking only side-profile and 45-degree photos haha..? My friend, who is a rhinoplasty senior, said I’d get side-selfie disease too if I got my nose done, and it really turned out that way… haha. Until now, my face wasn’t very three-dimensional, so I mostly took front-facing photos, and my wish was to try taking pretty pictures from various angles, so honestly it’s a good thing! I hope my review helps even a little for everyone here researching rhinoplasty online. If you have any questions, please ask in the comments!

Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-reviewApr 30 Is rhinoplasty difficult if I want to keep my dorsal hump?
I want to correct my bulbous nose, so I went to consultations at a few places. They all said that if they put cartilage in the nasal tip and raise the tip, they would have to shave down the dorsal hump on the nasal bridge and place silicone

I’m a man, and my nose used to have a slight hump, but it wasn’t high and was small, so it didn’t have a masculine feel, and it didn’t really look handsome either. This time, I had surgery with Director Kim Ji-hoon at Ppeulli Plastic Surger
