I just had breast implant removal surgery, and compared with the overflowing number of breast augmentation reviews, there are noticeably fewer removal reviews, so I’m writing this in case it helps people like me or people who are still debating breast surgery!
1. Why I got augmentation surgery I’m petite and thin, so you can barely find any fat on my body. Since I don’t have fat anywhere else, of course I barely had any breast tissue either + pectus carinatum ^^ People with pectus carinatum will know... even with the same amount of flesh, it makes you look like you have even less. And it’s a bit embarrassing, but my self-esteem had gone down too! I think I also had some greed. Women get hit by appearance-related obsessive insecurity at least once, right? I want to tell everyone who reads this that you are so pretty and precious even without something like breast surgery, so please don’t put yourself through hardship!! If there’s a man next to you who makes your self-esteem drop, replace the man, not your breasts. Live with a queen mindset. Anyway, I’m originally the kind of bulldozer personality where if I decide to do something, I have to do it, so I just went for it lol Honestly, now that I’m in my 30s, I do think, what on earth was I thinking back then, cutting into my body and putting implants inside myself? I really had no sense of fear. I got Sebbin implants, about 270 and 290 on each side, and after the surgery ended, I took a taxi home. It was hard to breathe and it hurt, so I went home regretting why I had gotten the surgery.
2. After augmentation surgery Compared with the first day, I think the recovery period went by smoothly, and since they were breasts made by surgery, they were really big and pretty. By then, the regret disappeared and my satisfaction became 200%. And honestly, you might think, what are two breasts, but just getting those two gave me insane confidence. I think many of the breast reviews I’ve seen were probably written only at this point. So when you look up reviews, I think people can only say they’re highly satisfied and recommend it. Until I decided on removal surgery, I also used to recommend it if someone around me was debating it.
3. Problems with augmentation surgery *This is an extremely personal perspective. It can differ from person to person. For 3 years after the surgery, I lived well without any problems. But the moment it went past 3 years, I sometimes started having a tingling pain in the side of my breast that I’d never had before. Do you know BII syndrome? It felt like that had been triggered. It’s not a medically recognized diagnosis, but apparently there are symptoms that sometimes commonly occur among women who have had implants inserted. Chronic inflammation, reduced immune function, decreased memory/concentration, etc. I think I’m pretty physically strong and fairly smart, but I kept getting minor illnesses often, and my memory got so bad that when I watched videos, after some time passed I often couldn’t even remember the characters’ names well. I also feel like I’ve been living with inflammation for nearly the last 3 years, such as skin trouble or vaginitis. (I’m genuinely curious about this, so I’ll observe whether it improves after about 6 months and add to this.) But I had thought all of this was just because of simple aging. As I kept searching for the cause, I eventually reached the thought: could it be because of the implants? Even I know nothing has been clearly proven medically yet, and I do wonder how much breast implants could really cause problems throughout the whole body, but I thought that if there is even a 1% chance they are affecting the ruining of my body, I should remove them. I have a few friends who also had breast surgery, and they said they don’t have any major issues besides me! It’s case by case.
4. Removal surgery review For these reasons, I quickly scheduled a surgery date and had the surgery. I really don’t think I want to lie on an operating table ever again... For real, climbing onto that cold operating table not because I’m sick and have no choice, but because I chose it myself, feels like a foolish thing to do. When you look at some implant removal reviews, some people say it hurt as much as putting them in, and some people say it didn’t hurt. For me, it didn’t hurt at all. Both insertion and removal were done through the armpit, and only the incised area in the armpit inevitably throbbed a bit. Seriously, it hurt so little I could say the pain was 0. Instead, they said I can’t shower for 1 week and have to wear a compression garment for 3 weeks. Ugh, so annoying..
5. Wrapping up I’ve written a review from putting implants in to taking them out, and if you’re thinking of getting breast surgery, I don’t really want to recommend it. Are you going to live with those attached until you get old and become a grandma? You’ll have to remove them someday anyway, so if all you’ll be left with is scarring, just live as you are!! After surgery, the fit of clothes got worse too (I could only wear tight things), and small breasts have their own charm too~~ Since I already went for it, I’m trying not to regret it. I’m trying to live thinking that I spent the f***ing cost on a trial pass to experience living as a woman with big breasts, but if you haven’t done it yet, just don’t do it. One of the things I heard a lot after surgery was that people were jealous because my body was thin but my breasts were big, and I held back from shouting, “These are all fake, you know...” In the end, it’s all just what’s shown on the outside, and I just have to live without thinking I’m jealous of others. If you feel like you absolutely have to do it even if it kills you, look for a clinic carefully, don’t get greedy, and put in only a little. After surgery, I couldn’t go anywhere and was bored, so I wrote this. I hope my post helps even a little~
