I had rhinoplasty 10 years ago, but I didn’t like the shape, and I even developed nasal obstruction. I had been living with my dissatisfaction with the shape, just accepting it as it was, but once nasal obstruction developed too, I started thinking that I needed to have rhinoplasty again. While looking into it, I heard that nasal obstruction and revision rhinoplasty could be treated together, so I mainly went for consultations at hospitals where surgery was possible. I had a consultation with Director Dr. Sung Yong-hae at JㅇJ, and he clearly explained the nasal structure and pinpointed exactly what surgery I needed right now. He also said that for the nasal shape, he would work on both the nasal bridge and nasal tip at the same time so that the bridge would not look low. To be honest, I had consulted at other places before, but they only kept talking about the nasal bridge without explaining anything about functional rhinoplasty, so honestly, I didn’t really like it. But the place where I had this consultation checked both aspects thoroughly, so I felt that I should have surgery here. I realized that this is what it feels like to breathe comfortably, and since my nasal bridge changed too, people around me often say that I look like a different person. I’m really so satisfied too, and I don’t regret having the surgery.
