Before double eyelid surgery, my concern was that I had epicanthal folds and barely any eyelid line, so my eyes only looked small and long. I got the surgery because I wanted my eyes to look more open and for the line to show a bit upward too. On the day of surgery, when I came out, I was a bit swollen and my eyes felt tight. I was still very swollen until days 3-4, but after about a week, it seemed to have gone down a lot. I think the swelling goes down faster if you take lots of walks. The swelling kit the clinic gave me also helps. They said that after a month, about half of this line will disappear. If you want a natural line, go for it. The clinic is right by the subway, so it’s very convenient, and there wasn’t much pain or scarring. I’m glad I recovered faster than I expected. It only hurt a bit when removing the stitches from the upper canthoplasty. It feels so good now that everything is removed. It was uncomfortable for only about a week after surgery, and after that it’s very comfortable. I think natural adhesion double eyelid surgery is good. Super good, really good.
