I had double eyelid surgery with an incisional method before, but after almost 10 years, the front part of the line came undone Like in the pre-op photo, especially on tired days, creases would form above my eyelids and my double eyelids would turn into multiple folds, which was stressful. After a consultation at a plastic surgery clinic, I ended up getting natural adhesion surgery! Because of my daily life, I was very worried about swelling and scarring with an incision, but after the consultation, I was told that sufficient correction was possible with the natural adhesion method, so I went ahead with it. The surgery only took about 30 minutes, and it was done under sedation + local anesthesia, so I had no pain at all afterward! These are photos immediately after surgery, on day 2, and on day 6. There was some swelling only on the day of surgery, and from the second day onward the swelling gradually went down. By day 6, there was less swelling than I expected, and the line became much clearer than before, so I feel satisfied every time I look in the mirror. Especially even though it was not an incisional revision surgery, the line feels firmly fixed, so my eyes look even more defined and clean. I was very worried because it was my first revision surgery in 10 years, but in the end, I think choosing natural adhesion was a brilliant move. It has only been 1 week since surgery, so there is still some minor residual swelling, but most of the swelling has gone down and it does not interfere with daily life. I’m looking forward to it settling quickly and naturally, without looking artificial, like my original eyes!!
